Weather Fronts

What are the blue and red lines on the chart?

The blue lines with arrows show cold fronts.

Cold fronts are where cold dry air hits warm humid air.

The humid air rises and cools.

This can make clouds, storms, wind and rain.

The air pressure drops quickly as a front approaches.

Don’t be on a small boat when a cold front hits
